Billy McFarland, the man behind the disastrous Fyre Festival, says he's secured funding to pay off his debts, launch Fyre Festival 2.0, and produce a Broadway musical about the events of the first one!
If you're not familar, Fyre Festival 1 was a complete disaster. It was advertised as a luxury music festival taking place on an island in the Bahamas, with the promise of huge acts like Blink-182 and Migos. But poor planning and logisitics lead to festival-goers having nowhere to sleep and scraps to eat.
The doomed festival took place in 2017 and everyone was talking about it in 2019 when Netflix released a documentary titled Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened.
Because there was so much scandal and fraud involved in the festival planning, Billy McFarland went to prison for it.
But now he's out and he's raring to go at it again! He put up a TikTok talking about his plans for the future.

I guess we'll just have to watch this space! Although if we were going to give out advice we reckon it's probably not the best idea to buy tickets for Fyre Festival 2.0 😅
