Met Gala 2023 will pay tribute to pay tribute to Karl Lagerfeld.
The annual fundraising event, which features some of the biggest celebrity names, will focus on celebrating the work of fashion designer and photographer Karl Lagerfeld.
German designer, Lagerfield passed away in 2019 aged 85.

The event will be titled: “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” paying tribute to the late fashion icon.
The annual event will take place in it's usual venue the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute.
Karl's official Twitter page released a statement today giving their reaction to the tribute saying: "The House of KARL LAGERFELD is deeply honored by the theme of the @metmuseum’s 2023 Costume Institute Exhibition, "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty."

In a press release given by CNN, organisers said the event is set to "explore the designer's stylistic language."
Lagerfeld was the director of fashion brand Chanel from 1983, until his passing in 2019.
