"It's been emotional guys"
Tony Adams was forced to withdraw from the show completely after sustaining an injury during Saturday night's live show.
The former footballer and his partner Katya Jones found themselves in the bottom two and were due to perform in the dreaded dance off against Tyler West and Dianne Buswell.
However, Tess Daly had to make the announcement that Tony would not be able to perform and consequently leave the show:
"Due to an injury sustained on Saturday night, Tony is unable to take part in the dance off and has decided to withdraw from the competition"
The decision meant Tyler West and his dance partner were automatically sent through to next week where the couples will dance in the famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
From the Full Monty to their Halloween Quickstep, Tony and Katya have been a legendary #Strictly partnership that we'll never forget 👏@TonyAdams @Mrs_katjones pic.twitter.com/tiat9ycG6M

When asked about how his time on the show was, Tony said: "It's been emotional guys, I cried for the first month."
He wasn't afraid to talk about how much the show meant to him.
“Little did I know that I was going to learn a lot about myself in the process. I thought this ‘journey’ rubbish was nonsense, but my god the rollercoaster of emotion.”
“I’ve got to be honest, it’s tough, physically it’s really tough out there, but dancing is really fantastic for you.
There comes a point when you can no longer ignore medical advice, and very sadly my point came tonight. Sorry I couldn’t dance off against my friend @TylerWestt , but thank you thank you to ALL @bbcstrictly who made this into an unbelievable joyful, tough and exhilirating 8 weeks pic.twitter.com/xn7JKVWWH7
