Slow Horses fan rejoice! It’s being renewed for another season.
The spy thriller series starring Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden follows the misadventures of a rejected MI5 agents banished to ‘Slough House’ where they’re made to do monotonous admin tasks after being deemed unworthy to work in the field.
The show, which is based on novels by Mick Herron, just released its 4th season to critical acclaim, and a 5th is already in the works.

According to the press release, the 6th season “sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge”.
Showrunner Will Smith has also revealed that the show’s star, Gary Oldman, has basically signed on to the show for life.
“I mean, all I could say is I know that Gary has expressed a desire to play Lamb forever and that Mick [Herron] is still writing the books, so I hope it will go for as long as people want it.”
There is no release date for season 5 or 6 of Slow Horses just yet but we imagine we won’t have long to wait!
