Shonda Rhimes has been dishing some Grey's Anatomy spoilers for the new season. If you don't want to know, look away now!
Rhimes was speaking at the Television Critics Association's semi-annual press conference.
So basically, Grey's Anatomy is set to been a little lighter in terms of drama this season. So no plane crashes, deathly storms or hospital shooters then?
It also seems that Meredith will stay single after the untimely death of McDreamy last season:
"She’s living in a house with her sisters. There’s a lot of single women right now. She’s surrounded by women who are dating and having a whole life. She’s not interested in all that. She’s pondering, ‘Is there a second life there or are the best years behind you?’"
Also, April has rejoined the army, so we'll have to wait and see what this means for Jackson and April, or Japril as they're affectionately referred to by fans of the show.
And Callie and Arizona might finally be moving on from each other:
"Definitely some new romances for them this season, and some pretty exciting ones, too, which I think are going to be kind of interesting."
Grey's Anatomy's twelfth season will return on the 24th of September.
