Bayside here we come! Saved by the Bell is officially returning to our screens!
It's been announced that NBC's new streaming service Peacock will be the home of the reboot of the popular sitcom.
Bosses have revealed that the new show will feature some of the series' original stars. Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano) and Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater) are understood to be reprising their roles.
It hasn't been confirmed whether Zac Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), Screech (Dustin Diamond), Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies) and Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen) will be part of the new show.
Peacock, which is set to launch in April 2020, will also feature reboots of Pinky Brewster with Soleil Moon Frye and Battlestar Galactica. It will reportedly also feature The Office and Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Downton Abbey and Will & Grace along with many films.
Saved By The Bell originally ran from 1989 until 1993. It was then followed by two spinoffs, Saved by the Bell: The College Years and Saved By The Bell: The New Class and two films.
Most of the cast reunited on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon back in 2015.
