Colin Farrell didn't look too impressed with a prank played at a German awards ceremony this week.
As usual La La Land was picking up another trophy, this time at the Goldene Kamara Awards in Hamburg.
Host Steven Gaetjen told the audience the director couldn't be there but there was a special guest to accept the award on his behalf..."he is the one and only Ryan Gosling!"
Cue a Gosling look-a-like taking to the stage with improbable body language and a passing resemblance to the Canadian actor.
Colin Farrell wasn't laughing but Nicole Kidman thought it was gas altogether.
We love the bit where Herr Gosling starts speaking in a German accent while an interpreter translates for the German audience at home:
