After all the hype it’s finally here - Ireland's answer to Love Island.
Grá Ar An Trá aired on Virgin Media last night, introducing us to a mix of young people - with varying levels of Gaeilge - hoping to find the one.

Presented by James Kavanagh, Gráinne Seoige and Síomha Ní Ruairc, the show aims to match people up while also improving their Irish.
The first episode in the series aired last night and it will run for a few more weeks until one duo is crowned ‘the couple with the most focail’ and take home a tasty €10,000.
Viewers took to social media to share their thoughts on the brand new Irish dating show:
#GráArAnTrá is already about 10 million times better than #LoveIslandUK . Real people, not obsessed with having a six-pack or a perfect body, not bitchy (yet at least!) and fully up for having the craic. Love it already! 😍

just saw a Grá ar an Trá ad there and it said the contestants could “couple up…or focal off”
this will be the greatest show of all time
