Ozark season 4
Netflix confirmed the return of Ozark in a tweet this morning.
The show will be back for one more season split into two seven-episode parts.
This will be the longest run of episodes for the drama, which stars Jason Bateman and Laura Linney.
Speaking on the news Bateman said, 'A super-sized season means super-sized problems for the Byrdes. I’m excited to end with a bang.'
Chris Mundy will return as showrunner, writer and executive producer on the final season.
'We’re so happy Netflix recognised the importance of giving Ozark more time to end the Byrdes’ saga right, he said.'
'It’s been such a great adventure for all of us — both on screen and off — so we’re thrilled to get the chance to bring it home in the most fulfilling way possible.'
Plot
Season three ended with Marty (Bateman) and Wendy (Linney) working more closely with the Navarro cartel.
Speaking on a potential plot for the final season Mundy said, 'I think it will be about if the Byrdes can they turn the biggest mistake of their lives into this huge advantage, and how much will karma catch up with them if they do?'
It looks like can expect the final season of Ozark next year.
