How to watch Normal People
Sally Rooney's Normal People starts this weekend and we're very excited!
The first reviews are in and the TV adaptation of the Irish author's second novel looks set to be a big hit.
The show was commissioned by BBC Three and all 12 episodes will drop as a boxset on the channel this Sunday.
If you don't have BBC Three the first two episodes will air on BBC One on Monday night.
Alternatively you can wait until Tuesday and catch the double bill on RTÉ.
Both channels will then air an episode a week from then on!
Plot
The coming-of-age story follows two young people from Mayo.
Kildare newcomer Paul Mescal plays Connell and British actress Daisy Edgar Jones plays Marianne.
The series will show the two, “navigating adulthood in contemporary Ireland".
They have a, "complicated relationship from the end of their school days in Sligo to their undergraduate years at Trinity College".
In addition to the lead actors, Sarah Greene and Aislín McGuckin also star.
In other weekend viewing news, Ricky Gervais' After Life season two is out on Netflix today.
