The Innocence Files
Netflix have released a trailer for upcoming series The Innocence Files.
The nine-episode documentary follows eight people who have been wrongfully convicted in America.
The show is based on the work of nonprofit organization the Innocence Project.
And series is presented in three parts – The Evidence, The Witness and The Prosecution.
The official synopsis reads:
'These stories expose difficult truths about the state of America’s deeply flawed criminal justice system, while showing when the innocent are convicted, it is not just one life that is irreparably damaged forever: families, victims of crime and trust in the system are also broken in the process.'
The Innocense Files is out on Netflix on Wednesday 15th April.
