Zoinks, Scoob!
Netflix has announced that a live-action Scooby-Doo series is currently in development.
The streaming service secured the project last spring in a highly competitive deal with a script-to-series commitment.
The eight-episodes series will tell the origin story of how Mystery Inc. first came together and solved their first mystery.
In this modern reimagining, old friends Shaggy and Daphne team up at summer camp with scientific townie Velma and the strange but handsome Fred to solve the mystery of a lonely lost Great Dane puppy — who may have witnessed a supernatural murder.

It will be produced by Midnight Radio, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television, and written by Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg. It is based on Hanna-Barbera’s classic Scooby-Doo characters and will reimagine them in live-action.
This will be the first time the beloved franchise will be turned into a live-action series, having previously been animated shows.
