Joanna Donnelly is one of those Met Eireann forecasters who is the absolute craic.
She hasn't been on the prime time slot for that long but the Finglas woman has made a name for herself for bringing the lols.
When Prince died she referenced his passing during her forecast by saying "There won't be any rain, purple or otherwise."
But last night she confused TV viewers by signing off with the cryptic salute "Goodnight, Mary"

Twitter users were quick to ask whether they'd heard right and who could she be talking about?
Later Joanna herself tweeted to clarify she'd been honouring Mary Tyler Moore who passed away yesterday.
The 80 year old American sitcom actress was famous in the 60s and 70s. She was credited with changing how women on TV were portrayed, paving the way for characters like Ally McBeal, Liz Lemon and Carrie Bradshaw.
RIP Mary Tyler Moore.

By the way, did you know that Joanna is married to fellow forecaster Harm Luijkx? The pair have three children together.

Joanna has also set up an infertility charity called Pomegranate. She founded it after struggling to conceive her second child.
Pomegranate fundraises for cash strapped and stressed out couples so they can undergo IVF treatment.
This woman is a legend.
