3e has released some juicy information ahead of tonight's episode of Love Island.
Megan is about to cause serious drama in the villa as she decides to call things quits with Eyal after questioning their lack of connection.
Speaking the The Beach Hut, she says: “I want to find someone that I really, really click with and it’s horrible when you see other couples having a laugh and getting on and you think ‘I just want that’.”
Later in tonight's episode, Islanders play a game of Snog, Marry, Pie - which gives Megan the opportunity to test the waters with Wes. Each Islander is one by one asked to choose one member of the opposite sex to marry, one to snog (in full view of the Islanders) and one to pie in the face.
Megan opts to kiss Wes. He then chooses to kiss Megan when the boys line up to have their turn.
Later that evening, Megan decides to speak to Wes upfront, telling the Beach Hut:
“At the end of the day, we’re here to find love and from an outside point of view, Wes and Laura’s relationship is very volatile. They’ll argue, they’ll make up,they’ll argue and make up. For me to just sit back and not even attempt to pursue Wes and see how that went would have been stupid.”
Approaching Wes on the terrace, Megan declares how she's been feeling:
“So this is obviously really awkward for me. I’m quite an awkward person. I think it’s pretty obvious that I do really fancy you and I just felt like if I didn’t say something I’d regret it massively. I didn’t know if it was just on a friend level, but more and more I do really find you attractive and I can’t help it. I don’t want to tread on Laura’s toes and she’s a lovely girl, but from an outside point of view I feel like she’s a lot older and she said earlier she’s in here looking for a husband. To me you’re 20, you’re so much fun and I just wanted to know where your head was at.”
Wes doesn't dismiss her proposition, as he gives an overview of his relationship with Laura:
“It’s just a constant cycle of ‘we’re happy’ but have I tried anything else? Not really. Could I be happier? Maybe. I do fancy her and I’m happy with what we’ve got. I’ve not talked to anyone on a romantic level in this entire villa.”
Wes then decides to speak to Laura about his attraction to Megan:
“So basically, today people have been saying I’ve been off, I’ve been distant, I’ve been not fully affectionate. What I’m saying is, I’m being honest with myself and today I just took time to reflect on what we have and what I feel like in a sense and I feel something’s missing.”
“Essentially what I’m saying is there’s a particular person in the villa…”
Where does this leave one of the villa’s longest standing couples, and how will Laura react when she comes face to face with Megan?
