Maura Higgins is heading back to the villa!
The Longford woman who created a name for herself after her stint on the 2019 series of Love Island has confirmed she's returning to the show. But not in the way we think.
She's heading stateside for Love Island USA!

She'll be representing the show as social ambassador, bringing us behind the scenes of the USA version of Love Island.
Maura had been dropping hints that she'd be returning to Love Island in some shape or form over the last few weeks, and this picture posted on her Instagram story a few days ago had everyone's minds racing.
And back in May she shared photos from inside the American offices of ITV which are based over in Hollywood.
Even if she's not going in the villa to wreck havoc, it will be great to have Maura's craic and one-liners back on our screen!
Although that means we have to keep dedicating too much of our lives to watching reality TV 😂
