The Masked Singer has been thrown into chaos as one of its celebrities stormed off stage, refusing the follow the usual procedure of revealing their identity.
The popular ITV show returned for another series last week, with a line-up of disguised celebrities battling it out to become the winner while the audiences and judges have to work out who they are.
One celebrity is eliminated every week and once they’ve been booted off, they have to remove their mask and reveal who they are.
The next unmasking however is said not to have gone to plan after the rebuffed celebrity stormed off stage before the big reveal could happen.
A source for The Sun said that it was "absolutely bonkers”.
Instead of removing their mask and talking to the panel of judges the celebrity in question “turned around and shuffled off stage, which was hilarious in their costume obviously - but we were all stunned.”
“We knew something was going on because we saw lots of to-ing and fro-ing with crew before the person eventually came back on stage,” the source added.
The drama isn’t just being reserved for the studio audience though! Apparently the dramatic scenes that unfolded will be aired for viewers at home for the upcoming show on Saturday.
