"The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority"
Married At First Sight UK contestant Nikita Jasmine has been removed from the show for "unacceptable" aggression.
The newlywed was booted off the E4 show after a situation "escalated off camera", a spokesperson confirmed.
A statement read: "The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond.
"During filming, a situation escalated off camera and Nikita displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour.
"As a result, she was asked to leave the experiment. All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved."
According to the Mail Online, Nikita "just lost it and screamed at everyone around the table" while filming a dinner party with her fellow newlyweds.
Nikita’s departure will be aired on Thursday’s episode.
Prior to starring on MAFS UK, Nikita had appeared on a number of other reality TV shows, including Comedy Central’s Your Face Or Mine, and also MTV’s True Love or True Lies.
Married At First Sight UK continues tonight at 9pm on E4 and All 4.
