Steven Avery is appealing his murder conviction. The 53 year old has asked a Wisconsim court to re-consider his conviction for the death of Teresa Halback. Avery is serving a life sentence for her death and his case has become a huge talking point since Netflix released Making A Murderer.
Avery has recently started working with prominent Chicago attorney Kathleen Zellner and claims that authorities used an improper warrant to search his property, among other things.
