The viewing figures for last night's Love Island final are in.
2.8 million viewers in the UK tuned in to see Liam Riardon and Millie Court crowned champions. An additional 400,00 caught up with the final on the ITV Hub player. Here in Ireland the final was watched on Virgin Media One.
The UK figures are a dip on the 2019 final when 3.8 million viewers watched Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea win the show.
Toby & Chloe were runners up, with Teddy and Faye coming third.
Despite the drop in viewers, it has been confirmed the show will return next year. During last night's final, host Laura Whitmore encouraged anyone looking for a 'summer of love' to apply online.
