This news is sure to make everyone happy today. Disney has announced plans for a small screen follow up to 'The Lion King'. The feature length 'Lion Guard: Return of the Roar' will focus on a cub born from the original film's Simba and Nala.
Rob Lowe will voice Simba, Gabrielle Union will play Nala, with Sarah Hyland, Max Charles and Atticus Shaffer also joining the cast.
The film which will be shown on TV later this year will be followed by a full series in 2016.
