Fans of Line of Duty might not have as long a wait for new episodes as first thought.
The creator of the hit BBC police drama says he hopes series six will air sometime in 2020.
Jed Mercurio has also told the Radio Times that production is currently in the planning stage.
“I would hope it’s sometime in 2020", he told the website.
However, he added "that’s not something that we’re able to confirm.”
Jed also told RadioTimes.com that production of series six is "at the planning stage"
"We are working towards a date. We can’t confirm everything until things are in place", he added.
