Line Of Duty no longer on Netflix
Line Of Duty is no longer available to watch on Netflix.
The BBC show mysteriously disappeared from the streaming platform this week.
Naturally lots of fans were left confused, but now we know what happened.
Kew Media Distribution own the rights to the hit crime drama.
And according to Deadline, the relationship between Netflix and the distribution business has broken down.
So what happened?
Kew recently fell into financial difficulty.
The business reportedly owed $100 million loan which it was unable to pay back.
As a result, the company was placed into administration.
Lots of employees lots their jobs and eight directors resigned.
Deadline is reporting that Netflix made Kew an offer.
The streaming service wanted to keep hold of the license agreements that were already in place.
However, instead of the majority of the money going to a financial administrator, Netflix wanted the funds to go directly to the show's producers.
Kew rejected the offer and now Netflix have removed all Kew Media Distribution titles from their platform, including Line Of Duty!
Bad news for anyone who was planning a long weekend Line Of Duty binge.
Fingers crossed Netflix and Kew can work things out soon!
