Production for the mini series starts later this year!
Deadline have reported the lead actors for the upcoming 'Pride and Prejudice' series for Netflix.
Emma Corrin will play Elizabeth Bennet, Jack Lowden will star as Mr. Darcy, and Olivia Coleman will take on the role of Mrs. Bennet.
Emma is best known for playing Princess Diana on The Crown, as well as her co-star Olivia Colman who played Queen Elizabeth II in the drama series; and Jack starred in the Emmy-winning series Slow Horses.
British novelist and columnist Dolly Alderton will write the series. Euros Lyn, who most recently directed two seasons of Netflix’s YA smash hit Heartstopper, will helm the project.
Netflix says the series “will be a faithful, classic adaptation of the novel.”
Production will begin on the series later this year in the UK. A release date for the series is yet to be confirmed.
