Laura Whitmore has been forced to pull out of tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing due to an injury.
She released a statement on Twitter, saying she was “absolutely devastated”.
The Bray native was left with no choice but to remove herself from tonights line-up, as she “didn’t realise the severity” of her injury until it was “too late”.
She added that her "priority is to follow the doctors instructions" to get her on her feet again without doing herself any permanent damage.
Whitmore also thanked her fellow contestants for their support over the past 24 hours.
