It's been confirmed that Laura Whitmore will strut her stuff on the dance floor for this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
The Irish presenter is the third celebrity confirmed for the BBC show later this year, after former Labour shadow chancellor and singer Will Young were announced earlier this week.
Laura revealed the news on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning, telling host Nick Grimshaw how taking part is a 'dream come true'.
“I’ve always known I’ve wanted to do it, even as a kid", the 31-year-old said.
“My mam used to say ‘One day you’ll do Strictly’ so she’s thrilled
“I was waiting for the right time, they asked me before and I was afraid they weren’t going to ask me again but thankfully they did.”
The fill line-up is due to be announced later this week, with Corrie's Ryan Thomas and Eternal's Louise Redknapp rumoured to be taking part.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC later this year.
