A divisive character
Kristin Davis responded to criticism of And Just Like That character Che Diaz.
Following episode three of the series, in which Diaz performed stand-up for a Netflix special, many fans were critical of the character's comedy.
On Watch What Happens Live, Davis set the record straight, albeit begrudgingly.
"You're going to get me in trouble with Michael Patrick [King]," she told host Andy Cohen, referring to the series' creator.
She added that Diaz's comedy is “meant to be more like ‘hmmm’ type of comedy” before miming being in deep thought, saying “oooh, oh”.
Diaz, played by Sara Ramirez, is a non-binary comedian who hosts a podcast alongside Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw.
