It was the end of the road for the Kilkenny Presentation School Choir on Britain's Got Talent last night. Despite an incredible performance of Ave Maria, they were voted off in the semi-final.
The choir, led by Veronica McCarron, received a standing ovation from the judges. Simon Cowell was particularly impressed.
“I liked the first audition. I absolutely loved this performance.
“Ronnie you are honestly special. It was like you dropped down from heaven,” Simon said.
While Amanda Holden described the rendition as "the most heavenly performance ever.”
Craig Ball and Jasmine Elcock went through to the final, which airs tomorrow night on ITV. Louisa Johnson will be performing her new single with Clean Bandit on the show. Listen to that track here.
