Kevin Clifton has announced he is leaving Strictly Come Dancing after 7 years.
The pro dancer revealed the news on his Instagram in a post that thanked the BBC and the show for the opportunity.
Kevin has been part of the show since 2013 and last won in 2018 with his partner Stacey Dooley.
In his seven years he made 5 finals and in the most recent series he won the Children In Need trophy and the Christmas Special.
In the Instagram post he said the time had come to move on and he wanted to leave on a high.
He said:
"To me Strictly always has been and always will be the best show on tv and has been an absolute dream and honour to be a part of.
Pre 2013 I used to watch every week. Now I look forward to returning to being a fan and cheering on my friends who keep dancing."
