So unbelievably deserved!
Jessica Gunning was overcome with emotion as she took to the stage at last night's Emmy Awards.
The 38-year-old won the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for her portrayal of Martha in Baby Reindeer.
Arguably one of the biggest shows Netflix put out this year, Baby Reindeer won big at the award show, picking up 11 accolades in total. Its creator Richard Gadd walked away with 3 awards in acting, writing and producing.
The actor based the story on his own experiences of being stalked, with Jessica Gunning playing the role of his stalker Martha.
Jessica Gunning was in tears from the moment she stood on stage to accept her award.
She opened up about how proud she was to be part of the show, thanking everyone from her agent to her friends and family, before gushing about Richard Gadd.
“My biggest thanks though has to go to Mr Richard Gadd, I'm going to burst out crying, I've tried so many times to put into words what working on Baby Reindeer meant, but I fail every time,” the actress gushed.
"So I'm going to sing," she joked, referencing her character's singing in the show
