The longest running medical drama of all time is showing no signs of stopping as Grey’s Anatomy has been renewed for a 21st season.

The strikes last year affected the 20th season of the show, however Variety have confirmed that the ABC network are to continue making new episodes
Speaking to Variety, Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes said: "The loyalty and love of Grey's Anatomy fans has propelled us into a historic 21st season, and I could not be more grateful."
The highly acclaimed showrunner is also behind Bridgerton, which is premiering its third season starring Nicola Coughlan in May.
Season 20 of Grey's Anatomy kicks off tonight on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player at 9.35pm.
