Great British Bake Off Announces Matt Lucas As New Host
The comedian will work on the Channel 4 show alongside Noel Fielding, who keeps his place.
This news comes after Sandi Toksvig left the show in January. She hosted the show since season 8.
Lucas is ''Chuffed to bits, to be joining the most delicious show on television''.
He loves cake and quipped ''I've already ordered some much larger trousers in anticipation''.
Fielding and Channel 4's Director of Programmes expressed their excitement at Lucas coming to 'The Tent'.

Thankfully, Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will be returning as judges.
Matt Lucas will be joining for the kitchen based show's eleventh season.
