Adele's Grammy performance didn't go as smoothly as she would have hoped. She put on a stunning performance of All I Ask, which she co-wrote with Bruno Mars, but the sound kept going in and out.
As she came off stage, Adele tweeted: 'The piano mics fell on to the piano strings; that's what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. Shit happens. Because of it though... I'm treating myself to an In n Out [burger]. So maybe it was worth it.'
Speaking to Variety, Recording Academy president Neil Portnow said: 'That was all an issue on our behalf. Grammys producer Kenny Ehrlich asked that we make that really clear to everybody.'
