Game of Thrones episodes are among those targeted in the recent HBO hack. It is reported that upcoming episodes and a script have been stolen and hackers are threatening to release them online.
HBO's chairman described the leak as "disruptive, unsettling and disturbing" in an email to staff. Up to 1.5 terabytes of material are alleged to have been stolen.
Ballers and Room 104 have also apparently been put online as a result of the hack.
A letter that appears to have been sent by the hackers on Sunday was published by Entertainment Weekly, “Hi to all mankind. The greatest leak of cyber space era is happening. What’s its name? Oh I forget to tell. Its HBO and Game of Thrones……!!!!!! You are lucky to be the first pioneers to witness and download the leak. Enjoy it & spread the words. Whoever spreads well, we will have an interview with him. HBO is falling.”
