We've finally been given the first look at the highly anticipated Sabrina The Teenage Witch reboot.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is written by Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre Sacasa. Both Riverdale and Sabrina are based on Archie Comics characters.
Roberto posted an image of Sabrina and Harvey, played by Kiernan Shipka and Ross Lynch, on Twitter.

The on screen couple were previously portrayed by Melissa Joan Hart and Nate Richert in the original series which ran from 1996-2003.
Sabrina The Teenage Witch followed an American teenager, who on her sixteenth birthday, discovers she has magical powers. The series, set in the fictional Boston suburb of Westbridge, showed Sabrina learning how to use her magical powers while living with her 500-year-old aunts Hilda and Zelda and cat Salem, a former human who tried to take over the world.
It's been reported that The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina will be darker than the original series.
According to Variety, Sabrina will be seen "wrestling to reconcile her dual nature as a half-witch, half-mortal while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family, and the daylight world humans inhabit".
Netflix has commissioned two seasons, made up of 20 episodes. The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina is expected to air later this year. An exact release date has yet to be announced.
