Jed Mercurio has shared the first images of Line of Duty season 6.
The show's creator took to Twitter this afternoon to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming season of the police drama.
"First day of filming #LineofDuty6. It's great to be back on the hunt for bent coppers, Mercurio wrote.
"Rest assured our camera crew will do better than my amateur snaps."

The new series of the hit BBC show will take place a year and a half on from the events of season five.
Back in November, it was revealed that Kelly Macdonald will star as a guest lead in Line Of Duty season 6.
The Trainspotting star will play Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson in the next season of the show.
