The return of First Dates Ireland is sure to help ease the January blues!
The third series of hit dating show premieres tonight.
Maitre d' Mateo Saina says viewers can expect some very sweet dates in the upcoming episodes.
Speaking to RTE Entertainment, Saina said we will see more generations and older couples over the coming weeks:
"That's a very good thing, because we need to attract all the generations.
"We have some middle-aged couples and 'above the middle-aged' couples and they're just genuinely cool.
"It's a real picture of what the show should be used for: finding real love. It comes across with the camera - proper hope in their eyes. As soon as they walk in, you say, 'Fair play to you'."

Ahead of the first episode, 98FM's Big Breakfast were joined by some of the legendary staff Alice & Pete, who told us what to expect from the upcoming series.
Alice has been waiting tables and letting love blossom at the First Dates Restaurant since the very first series, while Pete makes his dining debut this evening.
