It doesn't mean she's not up for one though!

Eva Longoria, probably best known for her iconic role as Gabby on Desperate Housewives, reckons that the show probably wouldn't be on TV today.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight where she was asked to look back on her career, she reminisced on what a great time she had on the show.

"I love that show so much, I miss my time on the show," the 48-year-old actress said. "I miss Gabby. I miss being Gabby; she was so fun, and she said and did things I wish I could say and do."

She also remembered how she "immediately" became very close with all her fellow housewives - Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross.

"We were in it together and we had so much fun."

Seeing as many popular TV shows are getting the reboot treatment these days, Eva was asked if it was likely that Desperate Housewives could make a comeback.

"I don't know if we could do the show today. I think we'd get canceled," she said. "I mean, not cancelled on TV but like cancelled in culture because it was so groundbreaking and we said and did so many things that were shocking at the time. I don't know where these ladies would be now in their life."

It's been a while since we've watched the show, but knowing what they got away with saying on TV back in the noughties, we think she's probably right 😅

Saying that though, she did make sure to say in the interview that she'd be "the first" to sign on if the gang ever decides to head back to Wisteria Lane.

Eva Longoria is currently making her film directorial debut with Flamin' Hot, a comedy drama based on the true story of a janitor who claims to have invented Cheetos.
