The Dublin singer broke records
Erica Cody made history during the second episode of this year's Dancing With The Stars.
The Calculated singer broke records with her opening dance - bagged the highest scoring first dance since the show began.
Cody performed a salsa to Kiss My (Uh Oh) by Anne Marie and Little Mix, choreographed by her professional partner Denys Samson.
Upon hearing the news from co-host Nicky Byrne, Cody said: “What a way to start the new year. That’s crazy.
“It has given me a new lease of life. After the past few years, the events industry has been left in the dark so it has been brilliant to do something that brings me so much joy.”
After admitting to suffering "a wobble" in rehearsals, she described her performance as "everything and more".
All votes from shows one and two will carry forward to next week, at the end of which, the first couple will be eliminated.
Dancing With The Stars continues Sundays on RTÉ One and one RTÉ Player.
