Ed Sheeran is continuing his world domination. Fresh from his cameo on Game of Thrones, the singer is set to appear in an episode of The Simpsons.
Ed posted a picture of himself in cartoon form on Instagram last night, with the caption:
"This year continues to be equally surreal and amazing. Watch out for this one, me and Lisa have a whole thing going on x"
It's reported Ed will play a character called Brendan who woos Lisa in a musical-themed episode of the show. It will feature in The Simpsons' 29th season, which airs in October.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about the news, the show's executive producer Al Jean said:
We had a perfect part for him...So we said, 'Oh, great, we'll have him do this!' And we recorded him over the phone from England."
