Ed Sheeran is about to dive into the world of acting.
The singer has landed a recurring role in a 'blood soaked' medieval drama entitled The Bastard Executioner.
Sheeran will play Sir Cormac, who is described as a 'deadly and ambitious character'
This is quite a change of scenery for the popular singer, after playing Croke Park at the weekend.
The show will launch this October and it'll be curious to see if Sheeran has some acting chops!
