“Celebrity Big Brother bookers are drawing up a wish list of contestants and Eamonn is on it. They would love for him to take part as he'd be such a popular housemate,” a source told The Sun.
“Eamonn's health concerns are something they would take into account and, when they package up an offer, they would make assurances to him that he would be looked after in the house,” the source continued.
The ITV presenter has turned down opportunities to appear on the show before, having said that he doesn’t “need the money.”
However a recent change in circumstances could change that!
The 64-year-old recently split from his long-time wife and co-presenter Ruth Langsford and was reported to have been ‘forced’ to sell his home in Belfast after an expensive tax battle with the UK government.
The journalist is also dealing with a number of health issues, having recently had surgery to fix a shoulder injury.
Could this be Eamonn's time? Stay tuned for updates!
