Downton Abbey could be making a TV comeback!
It's being reported that planning has begun on Downton Abbey series 7. The popular period drama hasn't been on our TV screens in 8 years.
But now word on the street is that because the 2 Downton movies were so successful, the creators are mad to bring the show back.

A source told the Mail Online, "There is a plan which is in development and there is a lot of excitement about it."
"There is casting taking place, and it would be great if all of the big stars can return," they added.
Fans no doubt will be buzzing at the thought of Downton Abbey returning to TV, but the question is now: Can they convince the most beloved cast members to come back?
Apparently producers are keen to get the favourites from the show back for the 8th series, including Hugh Bonneville, Allen Leech, and Michelle Dockery.
The show ran for 6 series and ended in 2015. Two hugely successful Downton Abbey movies were released in 2019 and 2022.
