First we got the first look at the Sherlock Christmas special and now we've been handed the first teaser for Doctor Who series nine.
Due to air on September 19th, the teaser premiered at Comic Con overnight. Peter Capaldi returns as the twelfth doctor while Michelle Gomez is back as the Time Lady known as Missy. Guest actors featuring in this season included Arsher Ali, Morven Christie, Neil Fingleton, Colin McFarlane, and Steven Robertson.
Before series 8 began, Steven Moffat promised a cliffhanger for series 9:
