It's been confirmed that Dirty John will return for a second series.
According to Deadline, Netflix has renewed the hit US crime drama for a second series with a new cast and a "different and self-contained story".
It's also been announced that Netflix is planning to make a docu-series about the real John Meehan.
Based on the hit LA Times podcast of the same name, season one of Dirty John stars Eric Bana and Connie Britton.
The 2017 podcast was originally documented by journalist Christopher Goffard.
The eight-part true crime anthology series follows the events of an online dating relationship turned dangerous that shocked the world.
The show was originally broadcast by US network Bravo.

Storyline
The description reads:
"Debra Newell has a seemingly perfect life: she’s successful, beautiful and lives in one of California’s most desirable coastal cities, Newport Beach. The only thing missing is love.
"So when she finally meets charming and handsome doctor John Meehan, she’s quickly swept into a whirlwind romance, much to the dismay of her daughters Terra and Veronica..
