Netflix UK and Ireland has acquired the rights to Derry Girls. Season one of the hit Channel 4 show will be available on the streaming service from next month.
The family-centred comedy from writer Lisa McGee follows the lives of four school girls during The Troubles in Northern Ireland.
Derry Girls stars Nicola Coughlan, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Louisa Harland, Jamie-Lee O'Donnell and Dylan Llewellyn.
Season one of Derry Girls will be available on Netflix from May 8th.
Season two of the show premiered on March 5th on Channel 4.
A third season was officially confirmed by the network following the show's finale.
