Dermot O'Leary could host this year's Brit Awards after Michael Bublé was forced to pull out.
The singer won't be making his hosting debut at the awards ceremony next month in order to take care of his son Noah, who is battling liver cancer.
Now, O'Leary - who is hosting the National Television Awards tonight - has revealed that it's "hugely flattering" to have been asked but that it is a "tough gig".
Speaking to The Sun, The X Factor host said:
"We should not forget in all of this that a little boy's really ill and his dad's got to take some time off to look after him. That said though, it's a really tough gig and it's a huge gig to be asked to do, but I want to get the NTAs out of the way first before I sit down, so I'm just concentrating on the NTAs."
The NTAs take place tonight at London's O2 arena.
