Dermot’s going back to his roots!
Dermot O’Leary is set to present a TV show that showcases Ireland.
The popular TV presenter is best known these days for presenting ITV’s This Morning on Fridays with Alison Hammond but he’s flying solo on this new project.
The show is called Dermot's Taste Of Ireland and will highlight some of Ireland’s best food spots.

The five-part series, which is being supported by Tourism Ireland, will feature Dermot travelling around meeting some of the finest food makers in this country and tasting what they have to offer.
Alice Mansergh, Chief Executive of Tourism Ireland, said: “Tourism Ireland was delighted to support the production of this new five-part series, Dermot’s Taste of Ireland.
"With millions of people across Britain set to tune into the series later this year on ITV1 and on the streaming service ITVX, it’s a great way to shine a spotlight on the island of Ireland – showcasing our delicious local produce, wonderful culinary offering and beautiful landscapes.
“Publicity and broadcasts like this are a key element of Tourism Ireland’s programme of promotional activity, to encourage travellers in Britain, and elsewhere around the world, to put the island of Ireland on their holiday wish-list.”
Dermot O'Leary said the show explores "two of my great loves, Ireland and food".
"The food scene in Ireland is so exciting and to meet the people and try the produce will be a real treat," he continued.
"It's exciting to see modern Ireland through second-generation eyes - and to show that Ireland's food is more than cabbage and stews... although all their cabbage and stews are also great!"
Dermot O’Leary, who is best known for presenting the X-Factor for years, has strong ties to Ireland.
While he was born and raised in Essex, both his parents are from Wexford and even moved back there recently. Dermot also supports Wexford in the GAA.
No better man for the job!
