Cheryl could be making a return to The X Factor - but only for two episodes. According to reports, Simon is hoping the former Girls Aloud star will appear in this year's judges houses.
Some outlets are reporting the music mogul is offering the former judge a €500,000 fee.
A source told the Daily Star:
“Simon wants to pull out all the stops for this year’s show, and bagging Cheryl’s long-awaited return to telly would be one of his top wishes.”
The insider added that Simon is also open to Cheryl's boyfriend Liam Payne to join her on the show in a bid to boost ratings.
“It would be telly gold. Nothing’s decided yet, but bosses are very fond of Cheryl and when she’s ready to do something, of course we’d be interested.”
Cheryl and Liam welcomed their first child, Bear, back in March.
The new series of The X Factor is set to air this Autumn.
