It’s been a rocky road for This Morning but they finally got there.
It’s being reported that an official announcement from ITV is imminent - Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard are set to be the new permanent replacements for Phil And Holly on This Morning.
The show has been in disarray since last May when its longtime host Philip Schofield was embroiled in a scandal which revealed he had had an affair with a younger colleague.
Holly went on to host the show solo until October, before she stepped down amid concerns for her safety following an alleged kidnap and murder plot.

So after all that drama and hardship, it looks like the This Morning team are finally getting some stability!
The show has been kept on the road by the “This Morning Family”, hosts who have presented the show in some form over the last while, including Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond who always presented the show on a Friday.
It’s being reported that Dermot and Alison will keep their usual Friday slot while new hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard will present from Monday to Thursday.
Despite rumours last month that Cat, who is married to Late Late Show host Patrick Kielty, had declined the job offer, it is now reported that she will be taking on the role after all.
According to The Mirror, a photoshoot for promotional photos for the new hosts is scheduled in, having been delayed already due to scheduling conflicts.
“The cat's out of the bag - they are the new dream team.” an insider told the Mirror, “ITV plans to announce Cat and Ben as their new star pairing in March.”
While an official announcement is yet to come from ITV, this seems like a done deal!
