Caroline Flack has officially quit The X Factor.
In a statement she said: 'I have had a brilliant time working on The X Factor over the last few years, and hosting the main show was just fantastic, I made some amazing friends.'
Caroline's co-host Olly Murs confirmed his departure in The Sun, where he said that he's decided to focus on making music. BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw quit last week.
Peter Davey, commissioning editor at ITV entertainment, said: 'We thank Caroline and Olly for all their hard work on The X Factor and the contribution that they’ve made over the past few years. We look forward to working with Caroline again soon and wish Olly the very best as he returns to concentrate on his music career.'
There's reports Louis Tomlinson will join Simon, Rita Ora and Cheryl on the judging panel. It has already been confirmed Caroline will host the second series of Love Island on ITV2 later this year.
